Yankee Candle Mountain Pine is a returning scent for this winter 2017 season.
It’s a pretty basic, plain pine scent and as far as a returning treasure goes, I believe that Yankee could have brought back something far more interesting or a fragrance that would fill a gap in the core winter scent selection. With Mountain pine, they just added yet another pine based scent to the already decent selection so I do think this is quite unnecessary.
Mountain Pine goes well with the National Parks collection in that it’s very straightforward and natural, there are no embellishments here, it’s just a basic pine with some faint eucalyptus mixed in.
It’s a super strong candle and for a pine scent, it can get too much if you are sensitive to strong fragrance. You need a seriously open plan set up or an open window when burning this.
All in all, it’s a very wintery scent, if you don’t like fussy scents and just want something very natural, pick this up. You can always layer stuff over it of course but keep in mind that it is super strong alone.
I hope you enjoyed my Yankee Candle Mountain Pine returning scent 2017 review!
