Yankee Candle Festival of Lights scented candle Review; returning favorite

Yankee Candle Festival of Lights is once again back as a Treasure. We can get this in large jars only. A friend of mine burns this every year and while I’ve never actually owned it, I’ve smelled it plenty.

The official scent notes in Yankee Candle Festival of Lights are: savory spices, rich cinnamon and sweet potpourri.

Burning Yankee Candle Festival of Lights, it smells pretty much the same as Yankee Candle Home Sweet Home. I get a lot of cinnamon, some clove, lots of sugar and some black tea. Putting “potpourri” as a note is a bit weird to me. Potpourri smells different, depending on what’s in it. The only typical potpourri scent is the dried component, since there’s never anything fresh in it. I don’t get anything typically potpourri-ish here though.

The scent throw on a large jar was a strong 7. It’s quite enough for a scent so heavy on the cinnamon for my taste, anything stronger and I’d be opening a window to avoid a migraine.

I hope you enjoyed my Yankee Candle Festival of Lights scented candle Review and I’ll talk to you soon!
