Yankee Candle Cinnamon and Vanilla scented candle Review

Yankee Candle Cinnamon and Vanilla is in online European Yankee stores right now (but not all of them; I don’t know how the EU distribution goes with Yankees, but if you can’t find a fragrance it’s worth browsing several Yankee retailers’ sites and you can find some stuff that is considered rare for a normal price) as a Treasure or rather a Yankee Candle Special Appearance Candle and it’s only available in a large jar.

The official notes in Yankee Candle Cinnamon and Vanilla are: blend of ground cinnamon and rich vanilla, inspired by the refreshing horchata.

I’ve actually had horchata a couple of times and I mostly smelled almonds in the actual drink but Yankee Candle Cinnamon and Vanilla candle has no almond scent. It does smell like a frothy, frappe type of drink you order when your blood sugar drops in the middle of the day and you just can’t afford to get tired. I get a lot of vanilla and milk, sugar, some whipped cream and cinnamon. The cinnamon is sweet and fragrant but not really spicy, like the kind of cinnamon you find in a starbucks latte. It’s a nice scent, I’m glad I have it in a large jar. I do question it being a part of a summer collection since I feel it’s more of a autumn or winter type of fragrance.

I’ve been burning Yankee Candle Cinnamon and Vanilla in a large jar in my luminary candle holder and it burned very well, I got an even wax pool in about two and a half hours. The scent throw was a solid 7. I burned it in my kitchen and the room got filled with scent in less than an hour.

I like Yankee Candle Cinnamon and Vanilla scented candle a lot but I don’t think I’ll be repurchasing it unless I can find it on sale, which is pretty impossible, since Yankee sales in EU are so rare and pretty much never include large jars.
